Celebrating Pharaby’s Nail Care Progress with Cooperative Care

I couldn’t be more proud of Pharaby! If you’ve followed our journey, you know nail care hasn’t always been her favorite thing. She wasn’t terrified of it, but she used to pull her paws away and breathe hard like she was uncomfortable. There were even a few times she hit her “Dinah” button (her version of a cuss word!) to let me know she wasn’t having it, lol.

But we stuck with it, using cooperative care to make the process as positive as possible for her. Now, she chooses to lay down for me to file her nails, and it’s a huge win for us! Cooperative care is all about allowing your dog to have control over their own comfort while building trust. It took some time and a lot of positive reinforcement, but the progress has been so rewarding.

One thing that’s really helped us along the way is our rotary tool. It’s gentle, easy to use, and makes the whole experience smoother for Pharaby. If you’re looking for a better way to do nail care with your pup, this tool has been a game-changer for us!

Check out the video of Pharaby’s progress and see how far she’s come. And if you want to try out the rotary tool that’s made a big difference for us, you can find it linked below.

With the right tools and some patience, you and your dog can get there too!
