Recently, I’ve had several comments left on my YouTube videos making false claims about my treatment of animals. Anyone who knows me or follows my content knows how deeply I care for and advocate for animals, and these accusations couldn’t be further from the truth.
I've taken screenshots of these comments to share as a reminder of how quickly misinformation can spread. This situation highlights how important it is to approach everything we read or hear online with a critical eye.
In today’s digital age, it’s easy to fall into the trap of believing or sharing unverified claims. We’ve all seen how rumors can spiral into harmful accusations, sometimes even affecting innocent people or communities.
Just as it's wrong to assume guilt without evidence in any situation, whether about a person or an entire group, we should always seek reliable information before making conclusions. When we bypass this responsibility, we risk contributing to misunderstanding and harm.
As a society, it’s up to us to fact-check, research, and ensure what we share is grounded in truth—especially when it involves serious accusations.
Of course I've deleted the comment and blocked the person, but this was up for 12 hours before I saw. Wear a relatively small account, but just thinking about the damage this could've done if we had millions of views on a video and people were reading this.
