Some days, life just demands a break, and for me, that meant lying down on the couch one afternoon. After a busy morning, I needed to rest and recharge due to fatigue from my PTSD. But Pharaby, my sassy pup, had different plans, lol. What followed was one of the funniest and most unexpected moments. She is so silly.
In the video I captured, Pharaby shows off her personality in the most hilarious way possible—by throwing a little temper tantrum because I wasn’t getting up! But to me, the funniest part was Pharaby even used her buttons to express her frustration, and she did it with a bit of attitude by using "Dinah" as a cuss word. 🙈 Yup! Pharaby came up with her own way to cuss, and it’s both adorable and hysterical.
The Power of Communication: How Pharaby Learned to Talk
Pharaby’s tantrum is just one example of how smart and expressive she is. Over time, we’ve worked together to build her communication skills using AIC buttons. She can tell me what she needs, what she’s thinking, and even when she’s a bit annoyed with me—like in this video.
If you’ve ever wondered how to get started with teaching your dog to use communication buttons, my book, Button Up, is the perfect resource. It’s designed to help you unlock your dog’s potential and create a deeper bond through communication.
