Art for mental health 🤗

Art has been a lifeline for my mental health. Engaging in creative activities like knitting, cross-stitching & watercolor painting has provided me with a sense of peace and a way to manage my PTSD and anxiety. Watercolor is my current favorite. Each brushstroke brings a moment of calm and a sense of accomplishment. Painting jellyfish, for instance, allows me to immerse myself in the beauty of the process, letting go of stress and finding solace in creativity. Hobbies like knitting, dancing, and even teaching Pharaby tricks have all played crucial roles in my recovery. Art is not just a hobby; it's a therapeutic escape that has been instrumental in my journey towards healing and resilience. I hope to inspire others to explore their creative sides and discover the mental health benefits of art.
